PID Controller for pH and ORP

uP-IP

PID controller for pH and ORP sensors, Mod.uPxxR

Microprocessor based PID controller, fully programmable, suitable for panel mounting (IP54 protection degree) and outdoor installation (IP65 housing). Instrument configuration is easily performed via display and keyboard and calibration is automatic.
Measure and temperature are indicated on a 5 digit red LED display.
Mod.uP can be directly connected to pH, ORP or ISE sensors and to the pertinent temperature sensing element. The measure is compensated for temperature variations, according to dedicated algorithms specific for each parameter and displayed in engineering units. Temperature compensated value is used in the PID algorithm. The PID controller is available either with analogic control output (4-20 mA or 0-10V, galvanically isolated) or with digital control output (contact output).
In the version with analogic control output, there are four relay outputs on normally open NO or normally closed NC contact according to programming, and the 4-20 mA analogue output is used for regulation. The digital outputs can be associated with alarm thresholds; the outputs are all configurable separately as minimum alarm, maximum alarm, alarm with hysteresis, window alarm.
In the version with control output from relay, relay R1 is used for control while the other three relays retain their functionality; the 4-20 mA (or 0-10 V) output is available for measured value re-transmission.
Two digital inputs are available, one for digital hold of the measure, and one for the input of an external alarm (e.g. level switch, temperature switch etc.)
The instrument is optionally available with cleaning sequence included: in this version it can drive the chemical cleaning of the sensor through a specific algorithm, with programmable timers, driving the detergent pump through R4 relay.
Measuring ranges are:
pH: -1.00 - +15.00 pH;
ORP: - 2000 - +2000 mV;
In the contact output control version the analog output can be freely associated to any interval inside the measuring range.
Power supply: 24 Vac, 115 Vac, 230 Vac, +/- 10%, 50/60 Hz, max. consumption: 3.3 VA
